History of Ipin and Upin

Who does not know Malaysia-based animated series 'Upin & Ipin'? The story is simple, educate and uphold the ethics of good manners, be one's favorite spectacle of children, even adults in Indonesia. But do you know if the story of two little bald it was produced by someone who once studied at the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)?
 

His name Burhanudin Radzi man who is now 50 years old over the ever studied Petroleum Engineering at ITB majoring circa 1980's. But he only college for 1.5 years until finally deciding to move for personal reasons.

Burhan, as he is commonly called, have Les' Copaque, a company engaged in the field of animation, creative and film. Together with his wife Aenon BTE Ariff and a number of his staff, they created the story and characters to seial 'Upin & Ipin' about four years ago.

"Because we all love kids, care about the kids," explained Aenon when interviewed at Kafe Pisa Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (09/29/2010).
Aenon not just co-authored the story, the mother of four children and one grandchild grandmother was also the voice in 'Upin & Ipin'. As?
"As Opa, his grandmother Upin & Ipin," he added smiling.
Opa character known as the figure of the grandmother is polite, affectionate and attentive. Incidentally Aenon properties similar to Opa. He confessed, often caring for grandchildren and was active in social activities for the kids.
The success of 'Upin & Ipin' began when following the Cannes Film Festival in France four years ago. Burhan and Aenon send screen shot 'Upin & Ipin' to the prestigious event.
