History of Ipin and Upin

Who does not know Malaysia-based animated series 'Upin & Ipin'? The story is simple, educate and uphold the ethics of good manners, be one's favorite spectacle of children, even adults in Indonesia. But do you know if the story of two little bald it was produced by someone who once studied at the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)?

His name Burhanudin Radzi man who is now 50 years old over the ever studied Petroleum Engineering at ITB majoring circa 1980's. But he only college for 1.5 years until finally deciding to move for personal reasons.

Burhan, as he is commonly called, have Les' Copaque, a company engaged in the field of animation, creative and film. Together with his wife Aenon BTE Ariff and a number of his staff, they created the story and characters to seial 'Upin & Ipin' about four years ago.

"Because we all love kids, care about the kids," explained Aenon when interviewed at Kafe Pisa Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (09/29/2010).
Aenon not just co-authored the story, the mother of four children and one grandchild grandmother was also the voice in 'Upin & Ipin'. As?
"As Opa, his grandmother Upin & Ipin," he added smiling.
Opa character known as the figure of the grandmother is polite, affectionate and attentive. Incidentally Aenon properties similar to Opa. He confessed, often caring for grandchildren and was active in social activities for the kids.
The success of 'Upin & Ipin' began when following the Cannes Film Festival in France four years ago. Burhan and Aenon send screen shot 'Upin & Ipin' to the prestigious event.
Seeing 'Upin & Ipin' exist in the Cannes Festival, a number of Malaysian television was interested in buying the rights siarnya. "The buying ultimately TV 9 Malaysia," said Aenon.
The success of the series spread to other business sectors. Now 'Upin & Ipin' fro, not only on television. A number of cafes using 'Upin & Ipin' was founded about a year ago.
"We have cafes in the area of Shah Alam is also in Putra Heights,"
Cafes that sell food with a unique menu such as 'Nasi Goreng Opa' or 'Chicken Fried Upin'
And received extraordinary praise from the Malaysian public, "Upin & Ipin '-exported. Noted Televisi Pendidikan Indonesia (TPI), a television station that broadcast 'Upin & Ipin' in the homeland.
The success of 'Upin & Ipin' not only in the two allied countries, a number of international companies also begin to look, like the Disney Channel.
"They came to us around mid-2010. Then we agreed, "he added.
But not all the enthusiasts' Upin & Ipin 'lucky to buy the rights siarnya from Les' Copaque. A number of Middle Eastern origin television ever made a bid.
"They are rich-rich, but offer it really cheap. We do not want, "said Aenon.
Indonesia Aenon recognized as a special place for him also the husband. They even plan to make the story 'Upin & Ipin' by including the distinctive character of Indonesia, 'Unyil'.
What kind of future. Aenon who sat as Creative Content Director at Les' Copaque still keep it a secret. Aenon only hope that if you later 'Upin & Ipin' Unyil playing together in one screen, it did not want to hijack accused of characters 'Unyil'.
"We do not wish to be called stealing, so his story will also have to be careful," he said.
'Upin & Ipin' produced as many as 42 episodes each year. Serial was only played in Malaysia every school holiday, unlike in Indonesia. "At us only when the children leave school, for three months," said 52-year-old woman.
After winning performance in Malaysia and Indonesia and went to Disney Channel, Les' Copaque together a number of consortia would make Dream Park Upin & Ipin (overwriting). Not only was the movie 'Lakshmana Upin Ipin' planned to run in 2012.
Now there are about nine people who became the voice of the core characters 'Upin & Ipin', including Aenon. Upin and Ipin to the character, his voice filled with one person, a nine-year-old girl. "Her name is Princess Asyila," said Aenon.

Justin Bieber - My World

A series of great names such as singer Ne-Yo, Chris Brown or Akon seems to be careful with the rush of new singers who helped to enliven the music arena R & B. After Colby O Donis, Daniel Merriweather and now turn to Justin Bieber began reaching the world charts. One of the advantages possessed by this Canadian singer is the age that included very young, 15 years old. My World is the debut album from the singer who started his career through this Youtube. Beginners and younger did not deter Justin for a pretty stunning achievement: 4 songs have been included in the Top 40 chart.
Not surprising since Justin does offer music that is so crunchy beat when we play the song One Time, the first track as well as the hit single of the 8 tracks that are in this album. Track two, Favorite Girl that is not much different from previous hits. Attention next MD is probably the Love Me which offers nuance club beat with the song Love Fool reffrain of The Cardigans. One Less Lonely Girl will likely be one of the tracks are required to be heard and MDers definitely want to listen to young Justin duet with seniors at the First Dance song. Create MDers who likes R & B seem to have to try this album. Slight deficiency is probably the voices that are still memorable Justin 'somewhat less mature' as well as a plus that makes it sound like little girls.
MD's Best Track: One Time and Favorite Girl! Want to know who fight this cool singer? Justin Timberlake and Usher! And the winner is: Usher! For your information, Justin Bieber and Usher duet together at the First Dance.

Children’s Spaces

Product Description
This collection of essays is concerned with the experiences children have within the supervised worlds they inhabit, as well as with architecture and landscape architecture.

International examples of innovative childcare practice are illustrated together with the design processes which informed their development. The emphasis here is on new and experimental childcare projects which set-out to reassert the rights of children to participate in a complex multi-faceted world, which is no longer available to them, unless under adult supervision. Research supports in depth recommendations regarding the ideal children’s environment, across a range of contexts and dimensions.

Until recent times, the needs of children within the urban environment were largely ignored. There is little tradition and no broadly agreed contemporary architectural or landscape theory as to how children should be provided for, beyond a limited functional agenda.

There is a sense that architecture for childhood is not taken seriously; it is either whimsical and ephemeral or largely designed for adults, an adjunct to the more important business of adult needs and aspirations. Yet children access much of their education and development through play and social interaction with their childhood counterparts. The spaces in and around children”s daycare centres, schools, supervised parks and other dedicated children”s environments are the subject of this collection.

As more and more purpose designed buildings and gardens for children are opened, the need to listen to children and their carers is becoming more aparant. Mark Dudek gathers together a number of internationally recognized experts in the field of childcare environments to write about different aspects of the landscape. They have been chosen in particular because of their background in enquiring, research orientated work, both theoretical and practical. They listen to and watch children.

Contributors have considered the child”s environment as one which is secure and controlled yet offers additional environmental dimensions which extend developmental possibilities. Children often spend a great deal of time in daycare facilties and schools, as parents are absorbed in their own work and leisure activities. This places an emphasis on architects and planners to consider the needs of children in great detail. As such, the children”s environment must be conceived of as a rich, complex place; a “world within a world”.

We use the word LANDSCAPE in recognition that children do not differentiate between the inside and the outside, private and public; every part of their perception is open to stimulation by a stimulating environment.

* Discover the impact of emerging childcare strategy on architecture and design internationally
* Learn from the broad knowledge of the well respected contributors
* Specific policy information provides design guidance

First Thousand Words in Arabic: With Easy Pronunciation Guide

Paperback: 64 pages
Data: April 2004
Format: DJVU

Description:

"First 1000 Words" is a picture reference book with numerous scenes similar to the picture on the cover of the book. Even though this appears to be a children's book, I recommend it to adults who are trying to learn Arabic, too.

All of the words in the book are nouns, so a more appropriate title might be "First 1000 Nouns in Arabic". The book is really easy to use. Under each picture is the arabic word (in Arabic script). Beneath that is the English transliteration. This is helpful if you don't know how to read Arabic script or aren't very good at is. For example, under the picture of a fish, you will find the Arabic script, then the tansliteration of fish in Arabic, which is "samak".

A glossary in the back of the book helps you easily locate the word you might be looking for and to clear up any confusion caused by a picture that could mean two or more things, like a picture of a wall, the word beneath the picture could be the word for "brick" or for "wall". The glossary eliminate this confusion.

Your Amazing Brain

Different parts of the brain control different functions.

You carry around a three-pound mass of wrinkly material in your head that controls every single thing you will ever do. From enabling you to think, learn, create, and feel emotions to controlling every blink, breath, and heartbeat—this fantastic control center is your brain. It is a structure so amazing that a famous scientist once called it "the most complex thing we have yet discovered in our universe."

Your brain is faster and more powerful than a supercomputer.

Your kitten is on the kitchen counter. She's about to step onto a hot stove. You have only seconds to act. Accessing the signals coming from your eyes, your brain quickly calculates when, where, and at what speed you will need to dive to intercept her. Then it orders your muscles to do so. Your timing is perfect and she's safe. No computer can come close to your brain's awesome ability to download, process, and react to the flood of information coming from your eyes, ears, and other sensory organs.

Your brain generates enough electricity to power a lightbulb.

Your brain contains about 100 billion microscopic cells called neurons—so many it would take you over 3,000 years to count them all. Whenever you dream, laugh, think, see, or move, it’s because tiny chemical and electrical signals are racing between these neurons along billions of tiny neuron highways. Believe it or not, the activity in your brain never stops. Countless messages zip around inside it every second like a supercharged pinball machine. Your neurons create and send more messages than all the phones in the entire world. And while a single neuron generates only a tiny amount of electricity, all your neurons together can generate enough electricity to power a low-wattage bulb.

Neurons send information to your brain at more than 150 miles (241 kilometers) per hour.

A bee lands on your bare foot. Sensory neurons in your skin relay this information to your spinal cord and brain at a speed of more than 150 miles (241 kilometers) per hour. Your brain then uses motor neurons to transmit the message back through your spinal cord to your foot to shake the bee off quickly. Motor neurons can relay this information at more than 200 miles (322 kilometers) per hour.
When you learn, you change the structure of your brain.

Riding a bike seems impossible at first. But soon you master it. How? As you practice, your brain sends "bike riding" messages along certain pathways of neurons over and over, forming new connections. In fact, the structure of your brain changes every time you learn, as well as whenever you have a new thought or memory.

Exercise helps make you smarter.

It is well known that any exercise that makes your heart beat faster, like running or playing basketball, is great for your body and can even help improve your mood. But scientists have recently learned that for a period of time after you've exercised, your body produces a chemical that makes your brain more receptive to learning. So if you're stuck on a homework problem, go out and play a game of soccer, then try the problem again. You just might discover that you're able to solve it.
